Uri Raz, CEO
Uri is the Chief Executive Officer of Dyyno. Prior to Dyyno, he was the CEO and founder of Appstream (acquired by Symantec),
a company which sells business solutions for application streaming. Uri also served as CEO for Golden Screens Interactive Technologies (GSIT) and founded Teletel, the first online search engine in Israel and today Israel's number one portal (www.walla.co.il). He holds a B.S. Summa Cum Laude from the Technion Institute in Haifa, Israel, and is co-author of several patents pending for Internet and e-commerce technologies.
Srinivasa Venkataraman, COO
Srinivasa "Venky" Venkataraman has more than twenty five years industry experience managing, designing and implementing complex software systems. Prior to Dyyno, he was the CEO of Appstream (acquired by Symantec). While at AppStream Venky helped recruit a very talented management team, increase revenue by several folds and established partnership with big companies like Intel, Dell, Symantec and others. Prior to joining AppStream, Venky served as Vice President of R&D at Zone Labs where he helped develop the leading personal and distributed firewall technology that is currently installed on over 40 million PCs worldwide. The Zone Labs enterprise product Venky developed was installed in more than 800 sites over a two year period.
Before Zone Labs, Venky served as VP of Development at Senterprise where he managed the entire product strategy. Before Senterprise, as a senior manager for Autodesk, he managed software development for e-commerce and e-business solutions.
Venky has a Master of Science degree with a Mechanical Engineering major from Purdue University, Indiana and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering from Madras University, India..
Dr. Eric Setton, CTO
Eric Setton is the Chief Technical Officer of Dyyno. He is an expert in the area of P2P multimedia communication and video compression. He is the author of the book "Peer-to-Peer Video Streaming" and has contributed to over 30 research papers in his field. He holds 6 patents either granted or pending. Prior to founding Dyyno, he was a research scientist in the Streaming Media Systems group of Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, and has also spent some time working at Sony and Sagem SA .
Eric holds a B.S. degree from Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, in Electrical Engineering, from Stanford University.
Vivek Gupta, VP of Engineering
Vivek Gupta is VP of Engineering at Dyyno. He brings with him a wealth of experience in launching products in the consumer Internet space. Prior to founding Dyyno, he was the Senior Engineer Manager for the Yahoo! STAR properties (Shopping, Travel, Autos and Real Estate). He worked for 8 years at Yahoo! in various roles, with primary focus on e-commerce. He has also worked for 2 years at Autodesk, being the integral part of the AutoCAD 2000 development team.
Vivek received his Bachelors in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 1997.
